Damahana public school has achieved the best goal on teaching and in the same manner it is rapidly developing with elementary equipment.
So far the children had no library facilities to get improved their knowledge. But fortunately it was completed recently. For building this complete library to the school the secondary educational modernization project has donated about 1.9 million LKR.
The chief minister of Sabaragamuwa, honorable Mr. Maheepala Herath handed over the library to the students’ use on 29th of June 2010. For this occasion the provincial chief secretary of Sabaragamuwa,
honorable Mr. Bhanu Munipriya on health and local consultation and women’s affairs of Sabaragamuwa province, honorable Mr. Sepala kuruppu Arachchi the Provincial manager of the Sabaragamuwa educational modernization project and the director of the Balangoda zonal education participated.
