The procedure of our e-village

The major trouble that rural areas of Sri Lanka face today is, not sending the technology to those regions. It causes as barriers for settlements in commercial and educational systems. It affects to this Damahana area which is situated in Rathnapura district of Sabaragamuwa province.
        To eradicate the above problem e- village was established with the help of Damahana maha vidyalaya. The guidance is given by the ministry of education, the National ICT agencies and secretariat of President Council
            
    All the children, adults and parents in the area have established an organization called oasisdamahana foundation. All the activities of e- village are done by this organization.
     The students of the e-village can explore the internet with the improvement through this project the students explore and practise various things relevant to their education  
     As well as, to learn English and other languages have been expanded. Now they can work with the internet and they write Web blog as an active unit. Further the members   have a chance to explore special things of the environment for the notification of the World.  All are maintaining a “Webblog create” of their own. So we are enjoying on modern technology through our computer unit. we wish to improve our students & villagers using the ICT and the English education.
